Loving time with Nana and Gramps Fuzz!

This week Mike and Gayle came to town and we have been having a wonderful visit! Ainsley is even more spoiled now from all the attention she's getting from Nana and Gramps Fuzz!

They got in while Ainsley was at school, so we all picked her up together and when we got home, they started right away reading and playing with her. :)
It was a gorgeous day--just perfect for a little swing in the hammock!

So pretty outside, in fact, that we decided to take a walk around the lake. We brought some bread to fee the ducks, but those guys weren't too hungry. We did come across this cute little leaf-sized turtle and had lots of fun watching him.

Ainsley managed to talk Gramps Fuzz into playing with her dolls. I have a picture of him holding a dolly, but I'm showing mercy and not posting it....

After a stop at the store (where Ainsley got the doting grandparents to buy her a pirate hat!) we headed toward the library for lots of fun.

We have a new library in our city hall building, so it's really nice.

We love the library and often go there to read and/or check out books, but I had never taken the time or attention to figure out this machine. Turns out there are audiobooks on cd so that you can listen to the story and read a long in the book. Thanks, Nana, for introducing that fun feature to us!

The next day, Nana was reading her one of the books when Ainsley was supposed to be calming down to take a rest time. (The rest time didn't happen, if you're wondering--she is too excited with her company.)

We then headed out to play with her cousins, watch Lexi's soccer practice and go out to dinner. We played and played. Ainsley showed no signs of slowing down, even in the car on the ride home. However, when Nana and Gramps Fuzz went to bed and Ainsley finally lost her "audience" it wasn't long before she zonked out.

Ainsley sounds like the energizer bunny!
