Coronado Beach is really so beautiful!
We were lucky to get some nice sunny days while we were in San Diego, even though some of the mornings were overcast. Overcast days are common there in May and June, but overall we were happy with the weather. Only a couple mornings, that we would have spent in the pool, was it too chilly to follow through with our plans without the shining sun. But we had such a busy vacation, I was happy to have a couple lazy mornings in the room eating breakfast and reading. Ahhhhh!!!
Anyway, back to the beach....I was mesmerized by all the gold in the sand. Look!
(Umm...that's my foot next to Ainsley's, just to be perfectly clear. ha ha!)We all found some gorgeous sand dollars.
Since there is a naval air station at the end of the beach, there is constant entertainment in watching the planes and helicopters fly quite low as they go in for landing. (In this pic, you can see the plane coming in and a good perspective of the beach looking down toward the beach's most famous hotel.
Some of us weren't quite as active. :)
Well the truth was, we did walk up and down almost the full length of the beach before we settled down, so I was kind of worn out! ha ha!Live out loud, girl!

Looks Like you had a great time! Did you stay in the beautiful hotel?? I stayed there once many of years ago and Loved it and didn't want to leave!!
