I am still praying hard for a miracle! Won't you please join me? Let's make it noisy in heaven!
The focus of our prayers is Ben, young father of 2 and husband of Ashli. Ashli was part of my table my first year here in MOPS, so part of my first Texas social group. Most of us from our table from that first year have stayed in touch and stayed close even though we don't all see each other several times a month anymore.
So, please join us in praying for a miraculous healing for Ben; and, if that isn't meant to be, for strength, love and support for Ashli and Z (4 years) and L (2 years.) And wisdom for me and several friends like me who want to know how in the world we can possiby make this time any little bit easier to bear.
***UPDATE*** Ben passed peacefully in the early minutes of Saturday morning. He's now in perfect health. We grieve for those left behind. Please lift up his family in prayer. Thanks, friends.

Nancy, I'm so sorry to read this update this morning. It seems like an impossible task to know how to be a friend during such a difficult time. If anyone can do it well, though, it's you. I'll pray for Ashli, the children, Ben's family; and for you, their dear friend.
Wow my heart breaks for this family. Hopefully friends from MOPS will care for them with meals, love and prayers in the days that come.
