From Fantasyland to the African savanna

It was such a wonderful extra blessing that we got to spend some time with the Ramseys on the trip, too, although our paths only crossed a couple times. While I stayed back at the restaurant and chatted with Michele for a few extra minutes, Mark and Barry took the kids to ride the carousel.

Evan on his horse wearing a shirt that sports one of his favorite things--John Deere!

I just want to kiss this picture of Ainsley!
After the carousel, they rode Dumbo! Ainsley is sitting next to Mark although you can't really see her in this picture. Nice castle shot in the background, though, if I do say so myself!
Here is Evan riding with his dad and Grandad. You can also see Mark and Ainsley in the back of the picture.
We departed from our friends and started making our way out...

...but we kept getting distracted by a few things preventing us from leaving.

SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS!

The little known 8th Dwarf!
Au revoir, at last.
Who's kidding who? We would be returning the next day!
But for now, it was on to dinner at BOMA, the African buffet at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. The food was different and really delicious. The Sturgills did a fabulous job (again) of picking out restaurants for us to enjoy our free dining plan!
The hotel was pretty, too.
After dinner we enjoyed some outside time viewing the animals which were practically right out the back door of the hotel!
