A really Magical Day!

This sight just makes me happy!
Tuesday we got a nice early start at the Magic Kingdom.

The plan was to ride some of the "big kid" rides in the morning, like Pirates of the Caribbean and Splash Mountain. Which we did, but not before walking by a no-line Magic Carpet ride which we jumped on first.

Mark didn't ride Splash Mountain this time and he took Ainsley for a little walk. Well, look who they ran into...Wendy from Peter Pan! So neat they got to stroll together!
We ran into Frontier Donald Duck. We were only 2nd in line, but had to wait 10 minutes because Donald needed to go in for a drink of water or something like that. It only stands out because 10 minutes was actually a long-ish time to wait for things on this trip. We were really spoiled.

See how happy Lydia is with Donald? She loves many of the characters and knows how to go pose for pics with them. It is precious, I tell you. Also, I don't know of another 1 1/2 year old who could possibly get so much enjoyment out of Disneyworld...she also loves the rides and atmosphere!

CUTIES!!

So, we split up with the Sturgills for a little while until lunch. We figured this would be our best time to go meet the princesses. There's a place you can go and stand in line and meet a few at a time and it is one of the only places one can meet Cinderella unless you have a meal with her. Even though we've only gone at low-crowds times, waits for the princesses can be 45 minutes. So we prepared ourselves and headed over there with our little princess.
Ainsley meets Cinderella!
Well, I wanted my picture with her, too!
Delight!
Here is the first time Ainsley has seen Belle in her ball gown. Remember the day before she had just met her and walked hand-in-hand with Belle dressed in her regular blue dress.
Much to our delight, our time from the beginning of the line to walking out having met, and taken pictures with 3 princesses (also Sleeping Beauty, again) was 30 minutes and half of that was in the room with them either about to meet them or actually interacting with them. That wasn't bad at all! :)

So, it was time to go meet for lunch. We were meeting not only the Sturgills, but also.....the Ramseys!! Yes, my good friend Michele and her family had just come into town the night before and we were all meeting for lunch. Here is Michele with Evan and sweet baby Rachel.
After lunch, Ainsley was going to get in a couple rides with her friend Evan. Come see!
