So we all went to a soccer game recently...

...and among the many pre-game entertainment options, one was that you could meet soccer player Bobby Rhine. He is so nice and offered to have the kids come back and take a pic with him. He is retiring after this year. Thanks for the good years, Bobby!

In this picture, Carson is explaining to him that he, too, is a soccer player and telling him all about his team and how many goals he scores (which is seriously a lot) and I'm not kidding that he told Bobby Rhine all of this. He was practically expecting a walk-on offer, but it was already the end of the season, so that's probably why one wasn't forthcoming. Preciousness!

We were there with Margaret, Carson, the J&A Powells, and their neighbors and kids. So, yeah, it was chaos. A good chaos.

And here is Ainsley doing her Hooper the Bull imitation.

"Oh, SO close!" He really gets into sports.

We stayed in this cool area behind the goal so the kids could have room to run around and we could make noise and generally have our chaos accepted and not kicked out of the stadium. It worked.

Justin talking to his neighbor Ward.

Lexi had just lost her first tooth!

Who really needs to watch a game when Ainsley will sit right in front of you and provide entertainment?

They should be paid for this cuteness by Adidas.
We really all had a great time and it was just one of those times that we all got together and could be thankful for living in the same area. I mean, that we could get together for a non-special occasion. But all of us getting together made it special, if you know what I mean.

The end(s.)

Sorry, I'm kinda childish that way. :)

1. You need to post more pictures of the other Powells or maybe they just need to start blogging.

2. Carson sounds a lot like Wesley. Not that Wesley plays soccer but that he tells everyone everything. He tells complete strangers long stories and they have a hard time understanding him. Chris is always embarrassed and feels that Wesley is trapping the other person.

3. Thank you for your kindscomments.
